Description
The investment seeks income and capital appreciation to produce a high total return. Under normal conditions, the fund pursues its investment objective by investing primarily in investment grade debt (or fixed income) securities including securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government, its agencies or government-sponsored enterprises; Corporate debt securities; Mortgage-backed and other asset-backed securities; Inflation-linked investments; and Senior loans. The fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in high-yield debt securities. It may invest up to 20% of its net assets in debt securities that are denominated in foreign currencies.
The investment seeks the performance of a market-weighted bond index with an intermediate-term dollar-weighted average maturity. The fund employs an indexing investment approach designed to track the performance of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. 5-10 Year Government/Credit Float Adjusted Index. The index includes all medium and larger issues of U.S. government, investment-grade corporate and investment-grade international dollar-denominated bonds that have maturities between 5 and 10 years and are publicly issued. All of its investments will be selected through the sampling process, and at least 80% of its assets will be invested in bonds held in the index.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
