Description
The investment seeks to maximize capital appreciation and income. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests in a portfolio of investment grade, U.S. fixed income securities of any maturity or duration. It also may invest up to 20% of its net assets in any combination of high yield bonds (also known as "junk bonds") and non-U.S. fixed income securities, including emerging market bonds. The fund will invest primarily in U.S. corporate, government, mortgage-backed and asset-backed fixed income securities and privately issued securities, but may also invest in U.S. Treasury interest rate futures, forward currency contracts and credit default swaps.
The investment seeks a high level of current income. Normally, the fund invests at least 80% of assets in debt securities of all types and repurchase agreements for those securities. It uses the Barclays® U.S. Universal Bond Index as a guide in allocating assets across the investment-grade, high yield, and emerging market asset classes. The fund invests up to 20% of assets in lower-quality debt securities. It is managed to have similar overall interest rate risk to the index.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
