Description
The investment seeks an annual rate of total return, before fund expenses, greater than the annual rate of total return of the Barclays Intermediate U.S. Government/Credit Bond Index. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in the following types of U.S. dollar-denominated debt obligations: U.S. government and other public-sector agencies, asset-backed and mortgage-backed obligations of U.S. and foreign issuers and corporate debt of U.S. and foreign issuers. It only invests in debt obligations rated investment grade at the time of purchase by at least one major rating agency or, if unrated, determined by Robert W. Baird & Co.
The investment seeks the performance of a market-weighted bond index with an intermediate-term dollar-weighted average maturity. The fund employs an indexing investment approach designed to track the performance of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. 5-10 Year Government/Credit Float Adjusted Index. The index includes all medium and larger issues of U.S. government, investment-grade corporate and investment-grade international dollar-denominated bonds that have maturities between 5 and 10 years and are publicly issued. All of its investments will be selected through the sampling process, and at least 80% of its assets will be invested in bonds held in the index.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
