The fund may also invest in forward commitments, zero-coupon municipal securities and variable, floating and inverse floating-rate municipal securities.
The investment seeks to maximize total return; as a secondary objective, the fund seeks a high level of income. The fund invests at least 65% of its assets in investment-grade, non-money market debt securities. It may not invest more than 35% of its assets in high-yield securities and emerging market securities combined. No more than 10% of the fund's assets may be invested in non-dollar denominated debt securities. The weighted average maturity of the fund's portfolio must be 3½ years or longer.
The investment seeks to provide as high a level of current income as is consistent with the preservation of capital; capital appreciation is a secondary goal. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in bonds. Bonds include mortgage-related securities, asset-backed securities, government securities, and corporate debt securities. The fund may also invest up to 20% of its total assets in foreign-issued debt securities denominated in either the U.S. dollar or a foreign currency.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
