Description
The investment seeks generation of current income. Under normal conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes, if any, in investment grade debt securities or synthetic or other instruments that have similar economic characteristics to investment grade debt securities. The fund primarily invests in bonds and exchange-traded funds ("ETFs").
The investment seeks a high level of current income and higher risk-adjusted returns relative to its benchmark. The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets (including the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in debt securities. It invests primarily in investment-grade securities, including securities issued by the U.S. government, its agencies and instrumentalities, municipal securities, mortgage-backed and other asset-backed securities, and corporate and bank obligations, including commercial paper, corporate notes and bonds.
The investment seeks to provide current income consistent with low volatility of principal. The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in fixed income securities that are rated investment grade or better. It may invest up to 20% of its net assets in high-yield debt securities that are rated BB+ or lower by S&P or Ba1 or lower by Moody's. The fund may invest in fixed income securities with a range of maturities. It may invest up to 20% of its net assets in fixed income securities issued by foreign corporations and foreign governments.
