The investment seeks a long-term rate of return that outpaces inflation, primarily through investment in inflation-linked bonds. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in fixed-income securities whose principal value increases or decreases based on changes in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers ("CPI-U"), over the life of the security. Typically, it will invest in U.S. Treasury Inflation-Indexed Securities ("TIIS"). Under most circumstances, the fund's investments in inflation-linked bonds of foreign issuers are generally less than 20% of its assets.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Barclays U.S. Treasury Inflation Protected Securities (TIPS) Index (Series L). The fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets in securities included in the index. The index includes all publicly-issued U.S. TIPS that have at least one year remaining to maturity, are rated investment grade and have $250 million or more of outstanding face value. The TIPS in the index must be denominated in U.S. dollars and must be fixed-rate and non-convertible. It may invest up to 10% of its net assets in securities not included in its index.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Barclays U.S. Government Inflation-Linked Bond Index. The fund generally invests at least 80% of total assets in securities comprising the index or in securities that the investment adviser determines have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities that comprise the index. The index is designed to measure the performance of the inflation protected public obligations of the U.S. Treasury, commonly known as "TIPS." It is non-diversified.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
