Description
The investment seeks total return exceeding the rate of inflation. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest a significant portion of its assets in investment grade fixed income securities, including inflation-indexed bonds of varying maturities issued by the U.S. Treasury, other U.S. government agencies and instrumentalities. An inflation-indexed bond is a bond that is structured so that its principal value will change with inflation. Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) are a type of inflation-indexed bond in which the fund may invest. The fund's exposure to fixed income securities is not restricted by maturity requirements.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Treasury Inflation Protected Securities (TIPS) Index (Series L). The fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets in securities included in the index. The index includes all publicly-issued U.S. TIPS that have at least one year remaining to maturity, are rated investment grade and have $250 million or more of outstanding face value. The TIPS in the index must be denominated in U.S. dollars and must be fixed-rate and non-convertible. It may invest up to 10% of its net assets in securities not included in its index.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
