Description
The investment seeks total return and inflation protection consistent with investment in inflation-indexed securities. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in inflation-adjusted bonds. It also may invest in derivative instruments such as futures contracts and swap agreements (including, but not limited to, inflation swap agreements and credit default swap agreements), or in mortgage- or asset-backed securities. The fund may invest in U.S. Treasury futures, inflation swap agreements and credit default swap agreements to manage duration, inflation and credit exposure.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Treasury Inflation Protected Securities (TIPS) Index (Series L). The fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets in securities included in the index. The index includes all publicly-issued U.S. TIPS that have at least one year remaining to maturity, are rated investment grade and have $250 million or more of outstanding face value. The TIPS in the index must be denominated in U.S. dollars and must be fixed-rate and non-convertible. It may invest up to 10% of its net assets in securities not included in its index.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Government Inflation-Linked Bond Index. The fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index or in securities that the adviser determines have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities that comprise the index. The index is designed to measure the performance of the inflation protected public obligations of the U.S. Treasury, commonly known as "TIPS." It is non-diversified.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
