Description
The investment seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation. The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in equity and equity-linked securities of "Indian companies." The advisor intends to invest in the equity securities of Indian companies by investing in shares of a wholly owned, collective investment vehicle (the "Portfolio"), registered with and regulated by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission. Investment by the Portfolio is a tax efficient method of investing in Indian companies.
The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund invests primarily in companies tied economically to India. It will invest at least 80% of the fund's net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in the equity securities of companies tied economically to India. The fund may invest a large percentage of its assets in a few sectors, including consumer discretionary, consumer staples, financials, health care, industrials, information technology and materials.
