The investment seeks high current income that is exempt from federal income tax and capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of the fund's net assets in municipal securities whose interest is exempt from federal income tax, but not necessarily federal alternative minimum tax ("AMT"). It invests up to 20% of the fund's total assets in securities whose interest is subject to federal AMT. At least 50% of the fund's total assets in municipal securities rated BBB and below or comparable unrated municipal securities.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the S&P Municipal Yield Index. The fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index or in securities that the Sub-Adviser determines have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities that comprise the index. The index tracks the U.S. high yield municipal bond market and to provide income that is exempt from federal income taxes. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks a high level of current income that is exempt from regular federal income tax and may also consider the potential for capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in fixed income securities issued by or on behalf of states, territories and possessions of the United States and the political subdivisions, agencies and instrumentalities thereof, the interest on which is exempt from regular federal income tax. It is non-diversified.
