The investment seeks a high level of current income primarily through investment in below-investment grade debt securities. The fund will invest, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowing for investment purposes) in high yield fixed income securities of corporate issuers located in the United States rated below investment grade. It may invest up to 20% of its assets in securities of issuers located in developed and emerging market foreign countries. The fund also may invest up to 20% of its assets in equity and equity-related securities.
The investment seeks investment results that generally correspond (before fees and expenses) to the price and yield of the DB Global Short Maturity High Yield Bond Index. The fund generally will invest at least 80% of its total assets in U.S. and foreign short-term, non-investment grade bonds included in the underlying index, all of which are denominated in U.S. dollars. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Bloomberg Barclays US High Yield 350mn Cash Pay 0-5 Yr 2% Capped Index. The fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index or in securities that the Adviser determines have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities that comprise the index. The index is designed to measure the performance of short-term publicly issued U.S. dollar-denominated high yield corporate bonds. It is non-diversified.
