Description
The investment seeks high current income; capital growth is a secondary goal when consistent with achieving high current income. The fund invests mainly in bonds that are obligations of U.S. companies, are below-investment-grade in quality (sometimes referred to as "junk bonds"), and have intermediate- to long-term maturities (three years or longer). The manager may also invest in other debt instruments, including loans. The manager may consider, among other factors, credit, interest rate and prepayment risks, as well as general market conditions, when deciding whether to buy or sell investments.
The investment seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the BofA Merrill Lynch US Fallen Angel High Yield Index (the "Fallen Angel Index"). The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the fund's benchmark index. The index is comprised of below investment grade corporate bonds denominated in U.S. dollars that were rated investment grade at the time of issuance.
The investment seeks investment results that generally correspond (before fees and expenses) to the price and yield of the DB Global Short Maturity High Yield Bond Index. The fund generally will invest at least 80% of its total assets in U.S. and foreign short-term, non-investment grade bonds included in the underlying index, all of which are denominated in U.S. dollars. It is non-diversified.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
