Description
The investment seeks to achieve current income and real return. The fund invests in no-load, institutional, and exchange-traded funds that are registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and not affiliated with the fund ("portfolio funds") or making direct investments in portfolio securities based upon institutional research, recommendations, and trading signals from investment model managers or other third-party research providers. The investments of the fund and portfolio funds will be comprised of fixed income securities, principally consisting of bonds, corporate debt securities, and government securities.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of U.S. dollar-denominated, high yield corporate bonds with remaining maturities of less than five years. The fund seeks to track the investment results of the Markit iBoxx® USD Liquid High Yield 0-5 Index, which is designed to reflect the performance of U.S. dollar-denominated high yield corporate debt. The fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the index and may invest up to 10% of its assets in certain futures, options and swap contracts, cash and cash equivalents.
The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before the fund's fees and expenses, of a high yield corporate bond index called the Nasdaq BulletShares® USD High Yield Corporate Bond 2020 Index. The fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in component securities that comprise the index. Under normal circumstances, it will invest at least 80% of its net assets in high yield securities. The index is designed to represent the performance of a held-to-maturity portfolio of U.S. dollar-denominated high yield corporate bonds with effective maturities in the year 2020. The fund is non-diversified.
