The investment seeks long term capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (including amounts borrowed for investment purposes) in equity securities of companies organized, headquartered or doing a substantial amount of business outside of the United States. It invests in companies of all market capitalizations. The fund may have a significant portion of its assets in one or more market sectors such as the finance sector. Its investments in equity securities may include common stocks, preferred stocks and convertible securities.
The investment seeks investment results that generally correspond (before fees and expenses) to the price and yield of the FTSE RAFI Developed ex U.S. Mid Small 1500 Index. The fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in securities of small-and mid-capitalization companies that are classified as "developed" within the country classification definition of FTSE International Limited ("FTSE" or the "index provider"), excluding the United States, and that comprise the underlying index, as well as American depositary receipts ("ADRs") and global depositary receipts ("GDRs") that are based on the securities in the underlying index.
The investment seeks to track the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the WisdomTree International MidCap Dividend Index. The fund normally invests at least 95% of its total assets (exclusive of collateral held from securities lending) in component securities of the index and investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of such component securities. The index is a fundamentally weighted index that is comprised of the mid-capitalization segment of the dividend-paying market in the industrialized world outside the U.S. and Canada. The fund is non-diversified.
