The investment seeks to maximize capital appreciation. The fund uses a growth style of investment in equity securities, including common and preferred stocks, American Depositary Receipts and Global Depositary Receipts, and under normal market conditions, invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of borrowings for investment purposes) in the equity securities of non-U.S. small capitalization companies. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. Normally, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of such premier companies. At least 65% of these securities will be issued by companies with stock market capitalizations up to $3 billion at the time of investment. Under normal market circumstances, at least 65% of the fund's net assets will be invested in equity securities of international companies headquartered in at least three different countries.
The investment seeks to maximize long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests normally at least 80% of its net assets in securities of companies based outside the United States. Currently, securities based outside the United States include (1) equity securities of companies that are organized under other than U.S. law or that are primarily traded on an exchange or over-the-counter outside of the United States; or (2) equity securities of companies that have at least 50% of their assets outside of the United States or that derive at least 50% of their revenues from business activities outside of the United States.
