Description
The investment seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation. The fund pursues its goal by investing substantially all of its assets in the International Small Company Portfolio of DFA Investment Dimensions Group Inc. (the "DFA Portfolio"), a separate registered investment company with the same investment objective and investment policies as the fund. As a non-fundamental policy, under normal circumstances, the fund, through its investments in the DFA Portfolio and, indirectly, the underlying funds, will invest at least 80% of its net assets in securities of small companies.
The investment seeks investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of the S&P Developed Ex-U.S. under USD2 Billion Index. The fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index or in American Depositary Receipts or Global Depositary Receipts based on securities comprising the index. The index is a market capitalization weighted index designed to define and measure the investable universe of publicly traded small-cap companies, as defined by the index, domiciled in developed countries outside the United States. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the Russell RAFI Developed ex-U.S. Small Company Index. The fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets in stocks included in the index, including depositary receipts representing securities of the index, which may be in the form of American Depositary receipts, Global Depositary receipts and European Depositary receipts. The index measures the performance of the small company size segment by fundamental overall company scores, which are created using as the universe the companies included in the Russell Developed ex-U.S. Index.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
