Description
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. As a non-fundamental policy, under normal circumstances, the International Small Company Portfolio, through its investments in the underlying funds, will invest at least 80% of its net assets in securities of small companies. The International Small Company Portfolio and each underlying fund may invest in affiliated and unaffiliated registered and unregistered money market funds to manage its cash pending investment in other securities or to maintain liquidity for the payment of redemptions or other purposes.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the Russell RAFI Developed ex-U.S. Small Company Index. The fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets in stocks included in the index, including depositary receipts representing securities of the index, which may be in the form of American Depositary receipts, Global Depositary receipts and European Depositary receipts. The index measures the performance of the small company size segment by fundamental overall company scores, which are created using as the universe the companies included in the Russell Developed ex-U.S. Index.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
