The investment seeks to provide long-term capital growth by investing primarily in securities of foreign issuers. The fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in the securities of the index and in ADRs and GDRs based on the securities in the index. The index is designed to provide exposure to a high-quality, income-oriented portfolio of international equity securities issued by non-U.S.-based companies, with an emphasis on long-term capital growth and a targeted overall volatility that is greater than that of the Northern Trust International Large Cap IndexSM.
The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in common stocks included in the MSCI EAFE Index, which is a market capitalization-weighted index that is designed to measure the investable equity market performance for global investors in developed markets, excluding the U.S. & Canada.
