Description
The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund mainly invests in the common stock of growth companies that are domiciled or have their primary operations outside of the United States. It may invest 100% of its assets in securities of foreign companies. The fund may invest in emerging markets as well as in developed markets throughout the world. It normally will invest at least 65% of its total assets in common and preferred stocks of issuers in at least three different countries outside of the United States, and emphasize investments in common stocks of issuers that the portfolio managers consider to be "growth" companies.
The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund invests primarily in equity securities of established companies that are economically tied to various countries throughout the world (excluding the U.S.). It may invest directly or indirectly in foreign securities or foreign currencies of both developed and developing countries. The fund advisor does not expect its investments in emerging markets to exceed 35% of its net assets. It may invest in securities of companies of any size and in any sector.

The fund invests, under normal market conditions, primarily in equity securities of companies headquartered outside the United States, including those in emerging market countries. The fund may invest in foreign companies of any size, including small and mid-capitalization companies, in order to achieve its objective.
