The investment seeks to achieve long-term growth of capital. The fund invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of international securities whose issuers are considered by the fund's manager to have strong earnings growth. It will, under normal circumstances, invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in stocks of any market capitalization. The fund invests significantly in foreign issuers. It invests, under normal circumstances, in issuers located in at least three countries outside of the U.S. The fund may invest in issuers located in developing countries (emerging markets).

Normally, at least 80% of the fund's net assets (including any borrowings for investment purposes) will be invested in stocks.

The fund invests principally in common stocks (including indirect holdings of common stock through depositary receipts) issued by foreign companies, including countries with developed or emerging markets. It may invest in large, medium, or small companies without regard to market capitalization.
