Description
The investment seeks growth of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities. It invests mainly in common stocks of established companies located in or that conduct their business mainly in one or more foreign countries, which may include emerging markets. The fund will normally be invested in ten or more foreign countries and may invest up to 40% of its assets in any one country. It focuses its investments on developed foreign countries, but may invest up to 25% of its total assets in emerging markets.
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in the stocks of publicly traded companies located in developed countries excluding the United States. It invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities. The fund typically invests a majority of its assets in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies, but may invest a portion of its assets in small-cap companies. For temporary defensive purposes during unusual economic or market conditions or for liquidity purposes, it may invest up to 100% of its assets in cash, money market instruments, repurchase agreements and other short-term obligations.
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests mainly in a limited number of large capitalization (namely, companies with more than $5 billion market capitalization at the time of initial purchase) value stocks of foreign companies (also referred to as non-U.S. companies). It normally invests at least 65% of its total assets in the equity securities of non-U.S. companies. The majority of the fund's investments will be in companies that have global operations rather than in companies whose business is limited to a particular country or geographic region. The fund is non-diversified.
