Description
The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund invests mainly in common stock of companies that the portfolio manager believes are undervalued and that are either domiciled or have their primary operations outside the United States. It normally will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in common and preferred stocks of issuers in at least five different countries outside the United States and may invest 100% of its assets in foreign companies. The fund may invest up to 10% of its net assets in fixed-income or convertible securities.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI ACWI ex USA IMI composed of large-, mid- and small-capitalization non-U.S. equities. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the underlying index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the component securities of the underlying index. The index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization index designed to measure the combined equity market performance of developed and emerging markets countries, excluding the United States.
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in a diversified portfolio of equity securities (the "80% Policy"). It invests primarily in companies domiciled in and tied economically to one or more countries represented in the MSCI Europe, Australasia, Far East Index ("MSCI EAFE Index") and may include securities trading in the form of depositary receipts.
