The investment seeks to provide long-term growth of capital. The Adviser pursues long-term growth of capital in the fund by investing primarily in securities of companies in countries represented in the MSCI ACWI ex USA Index, but may also invest in companies from other countries. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets will be invested in equity securities (i.e., common stocks, depositary receipts, preferred stocks, convertible securities and rights and warrants).
The investment seeks investment results that generally correspond (before fees and expenses) to the price and yield of the S&P BMI International Developed Low Volatility IndexTM. The fund invests at least 90% of its total assets in the securities of companies that comprise the underlying index. S&P Dow Jones Indices ("S&P DJI" or the "index provider") compiles, maintains and calculates the underlying index, which is designed to measure the performance of 200 of the least volatile stocks of the S&P Developed ex US and South Korea LargeMidCap Index. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks maximum long-term capital growth. The focus of the investment process is on individual companies, not on selection of countries or regions. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests no less than 80% of its total assets excluding cash and cash equivalents), measured at market value at the time of purchase, in common stocks and other securities of non-U.S. companies. The fund invests primarily in developed markets but also may invest in emerging and less developed markets.
