Description
The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund normally invests its assets primarily in foreign equity securities, including emerging market equity securities. Equity securities include common stocks and other securities that represent an ownership interest (or right to acquire an ownership interest) in a company or other issuer. It may invest a large percentage of the fund's assets in issuers in a single country, a small number of countries, or a particular geographic region.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the total return of foreign stock markets. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in common stocks included in the MSCI EAFE Index, which represents the performance of foreign stock markets. It uses statistical sampling techniques based on such factors as capitalization, industry exposures, dividend yield, price/earnings (P/E) ratio, price/book (P/B) ratio, earnings growth, and country weightings to attempt to replicate the returns of the MSCI EAFE Index.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the FTSE Developed ex US Index. The fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets in stocks, including depositary receipts representing securities of the index; such depository receipts may be in the form of American Depositary receipts, Global Depositary receipts and European Depositary receipts. The index is comprised of large and mid capitalization companies in developed countries outside the United States, as defined by the index provider. The index defines the large and mid capitalization universe as approximately the top 90% of the eligible universe.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
