The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund, under normal circumstances, invests at least 80% of its assets in equity and equity related securities of foreign companies. It normally invests in the securities of companies that are tied economically to at least 10 countries, other than the U.S. The fund may invest in companies located in developed and emerging markets.
The investment seeks results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the NASDAQ AlphaDEX(R) Developed Markets Ex-US Index. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets (including investment borrowings) in common stocks and/or depositary receipts that comprise the index. The index is designed to select stocks from the NASDAQ Developed Markets Ex-US Index that may generate positive alpha, or risk-adjusted returns, relative to traditional indices through the use of the AlphaDEX(R) selection methodology. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in a diversified portfolio of equity securities (the "80% Policy"). It invests primarily in companies domiciled in and tied economically to one or more countries represented in the MSCI Europe, Australasia, Far East Index ("MSCI EAFE Index") and may include securities trading in the form of depositary receipts.
