The investment seeks investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to the performance of the ProFunds Europe 30 Index (the "index").
The fund invests in securities and depositary receipts that ProFund Advisors believes, in combination, should have similar return characteristics as the return of the index. The index, created by ProFund Advisors, is composed of companies whose principal offices are located in Europe and whose securities are traded on U.S. exchanges or on the NASDAQ Stock Market as depositary receipts or ordinary shares. The component companies in the index are determined annually based upon their U.S. dollar-traded volume.

The fund, using a "passive" or indexing investment approach, seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, of the underlying index, which is designed to track the performance of the developed markets in Europe, while mitigating exposure to fluctuations between the value of the U.S. dollar and the currencies of the countries included in the underlying index. It will invest at least 80% of its total assets in component securities of the underlying index.
