The investment seeks to track the performance of the EURO STOXX 50 Hedged USD Index. The fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index and in depositary receipts based on securities comprising the index. The index is a market capitalization weighted index designed to represent the performance of some of the largest companies across components of the 19 EURO STOXX Supersector Indexes, with the currency risk of the component securities hedged against the U.S. dollar on a monthly basis. The EURO STOXX Supersector Indexes are subsets of the EURO STOXX Index. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI Europe IMI. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the underlying index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the component securities of the underlying index. The index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization-weighted index which consists of stocks from the following 15 developed market countries or regions: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
The investment seeks to track the performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment return of stocks issued by companies located in the major markets of Europe. The fund employs an indexing investment approach by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the common stocks included in the FTSE Developed Europe All Cap Index. The FTSE Developed Europe All Cap Index is a market-capitalization-weighted index that is made up of approximately 1,229 common stocks of large-, mid-, and small-cap companies located in 16 European countries-mostly companies in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, and Germany.
