The investment seeks total return. The fund normally will invest at least 80% of its net assets plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes in securities of North American energy companies. It will typically invest at least 70% of its total assets in securities of upstream energy companies. The fund may invest in LLC common units which represent an ownership interest in the LLC. It may invest no more than 25% of its total assets in the securities of MLPs and other entities treated as qualified publicly traded partnerships. The fund is non-diversified.
