The investment seeks long‑term appreciation while providing high current income. The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in dividend‑paying equity securities. It will normally invest at least 65% of its net assets in the equity securities of domestic and foreign issuers with business operations in or related to energy industries, including certain utilities and materials companies. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in the common stocks of companies principally engaged in activities in the energy industry, such as the exploration, production, and transmission of energy or energy fuels; the making and servicing of component products for such activities; energy research; and energy conservation or pollution control.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI ACWI Select Energy Producers Investable Market Index (IMI). The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the underlying index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the component securities of the underlying index. The index measures the combined performance of equity securities of companies primarily engaged in the business of energy exploration and production in both developed and emerging markets. The fund is non-diversified.
