Description
The investment seeks total return from income and capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing, under normal conditions, at least 80% of its assets (net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes) in master limited partnerships ("MLPs") and MLP-related securities. The manager defines MLP-related securities as general partners of MLPs, MLP institutional securities, exchange-traded notes ("ETNs") that derive their returns from a master limited partnership index, structured notes or options that derive their returns from a basket of MLPs, or other publicly traded partnerships or limited liability companies. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks investment results that correspond (before fees and expenses) generally to the price and yield performance of its underlying index, the Alerian Energy Infrastructure Index. The underlying index is a composite of North American energy infrastructures engaged in the pipeline transportation, storage, and processing of energy commodities. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in securities that comprise the underlying index. It is non-diversified.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
