The investment seeks long-term total return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in a portfolio of fixed income securities. The fund invests primarily in fixed income securities issued by corporations and governments, including the agencies and instrumentalities of governments, located in the China and Asian region and that are denominated in U.S. dollars, Euro or Renminbi, the official currency of the People's Republic of China ("PRC").
The investment seeks high current income; capital appreciation is a secondary objective. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in securities of issuers in emerging markets (countries that have an emerging stock market as defined by MSCI, countries or markets with low- to middle-income economies as classified by the World Bank, and other countries or markets with similar emerging characteristics) and other investments that are tied economically to emerging markets. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks a high level of total return consisting of income and capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in sovereign and corporate debt securities and other instruments of issuers in emerging market countries. The advisor intends to use structured securities or derivatives, including but not limited to credit linked notes, financial future contracts, forward contracts and swap contracts to gain exposure to certain countries or currencies. It may invest in all types of foreign and emerging country fixed income securities. The fund is non-diversified.
