Description
The investment seeks to provide long-term appreciation of capital. The fund pursues its investment objective by investing primarily in equity securities (including common stock, preferred stock and securities immediately convertible into common stock) of small capitalization companies primarily associated with emerging market countries. The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in securities of small cap companies, which are those companies whose market capitalization, at the time of purchase, falls within the market capitalization range of the companies included in the Morgan Stanley Capital International Emerging Markets Small Cap Index.
The investment seeks investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of the S&P Emerging Markets Under USD2 Billion Index. The fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index or in American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") or Global Depositary Receipts ("GDRs") based on securities comprising the index. The index is a float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index designed to represent the small capitalization segment of emerging countries included in the S&P Global BMI. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI Emerging Markets Small Cap Index. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the underlying index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the component securities of the underlying index. The index is designed to measure the performance of equity securities of small-capitalization companies whose market capitalization represents the bottom 14% of companies in emerging market countries, as measured by market capitalization.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
