The investment seeks both income and capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings, in a diversified portfolio of equity securities, and fixed and floating rate debt obligations issued by governments, government-related entities and corporate entities which are located, incorporated or have significant business activities in or are impacted by economic developments in developing or emerging market countries. It normally invests at least 25% of its net assets in equity securities and at least 25% of its net assets in fixed income senior securities.
The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests mainly in equity securities of companies located in emerging markets. It invests in small-, mid-, and large-capitalization companies and is expected to diversify its assets among companies located in emerging markets around the world. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's assets will be invested in common stocks of companies located in emerging markets.
The investment seeks income and capital growth. The fund normally invests at least 80% of the fund's assets in securities of issuers in emerging markets and other investments that are tied economically to emerging markets. It invests approximately 60% of assets in stocks and other equity securities and the remainder in bonds and other debt securities, including lower-quality debt securities, when its outlook is neutral. The fund allocates the fund's assets across emerging markets sectors, using different Fidelity managers. It allocates investments across different emerging market countries.
