Description
The investment seeks to provide investors with appreciation of capital; current income is a secondary objective. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in common stocks of companies in the telecommunications industry that the investment adviser believes are likely to have rapid growth in revenues and earnings and potential for above average capital appreciation or are undervalued. It invests in securities of issuers, or related investments thereof, located in at least three countries, and at least 40% of the fund's total net assets are invested in securities of non-U.S. issuers or related investments thereof. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to track the S&P Global 1200 Telecommunications Services Sector IndexTM. The fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in securities of the index and in depositary receipts representing securities of the index. It may invest the remainder of its assets in certain futures, options and swap contracts, cash and cash equivalents, as well as in securities not included in the index. The index measures the performance of companies that the index provider deems to be part of the telecommunications sector of the economy and that the index provider believes are important to global markets. The fund is non-diversified.
