The investment seeks the daily changes in percentage terms of its shares’ per share net asset value (“NAV”) to reflect the daily changes in percentage terms of the SummerHaven Copper Index Total ReturnSM (the “SCI”), less CPER’s expenses. The SCI is designed to reflect the performance of the investment returns from a portfolio of copper futures contracts on the COMEX exchange.
The investment seeks to track the price and performance yield, before fees and expenses, of the UBS Bloomberg CMCI Industrial Metals Total Return index. The fund is designed to be representative of the entire liquid forward curve of each commodity. The index measures the collateralized returns from a basket of diversified industrial metals futures contracts. It is comprised of the five industrial metals futures contracts included in the CMCI with five target maturities for each individual commodity.
The investment seeks to track the DBIQ Optimum Yield Industrial Metals Index Excess Return™ (DBIQ-OY Industrial Metals ER™), which is intended to reflect the base metals sector. The index Commodities consist of Aluminum, Zinc and Copper – Grade A.
