The investment seeks to replicates, net of expenses, the S&P GSCI Enhanced Commodity Total Return Strategy Index. The index reflects the total returns that are potentially available through an unleveraged investment in the same futures contracts as are included in the S&P GSCI.
The investment seeks to track the price and performance yield, before fees and expenses, of the UBS Bloomberg Constant Maturity Commodity index. The fund is designed to be a diversified benchmark for commodities as an asset class. The index is comprised of 28 futures contracts with up to five different maturities for each individual commodity.
The investment seeks to track changes, whether positive or negative, in the level of the DBIQ Optimum Yield Diversified Commodity Index Excess Return™. The fund pursues its investment objective by investing in a portfolio of exchange-traded futures on the commodities comprising the index, or the index commodities. The index commodities are Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI), Heating Oil, RBOB Gasoline, Natural Gas, Brent Crude, Gold, Silver, Aluminum, Zinc, Copper Grade A, Corn, Wheat, Soybeans, and Sugar.
