Description
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of companies that are either primarily traded on the China or Hong Kong exchanges or that derive at least 50% of their revenues from business activities in China and/or Hong Kong, but which may be listed and traded elsewhere. It invests at least 65% of its total assets in companies included in the Hang Seng Composite Index. The Advisor will invest the fund's assets in securities of all market capitalization companies, including companies in emerging markets. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks total return with an emphasis on providing current income. Under normal market conditions, the fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its net assets, which include borrowings for investment purposes, in dividend-paying equity securities of companies located in China. It may also invest in convertible debt and equity securities. China also includes its administrative and other districts, such as Hong Kong.
