The Fund seeks high current income by investing primarily in U.S. dollar-denominated, investment-grade bonds, and will maintain a dollar-weighted average maturity of 3 to 10 years. The Fund will be managed to have similar overall interest rate risk to the Barclays Capital Intermediate Government/Credit Bond Index.
The Fund seeks to track the investment results of Markit iBoxx USD Liquid Investment Grade 0-5 Index. The Index is composed of US dollar-denominated, investment-grade corporate bonds with remaining maturities of less than five years. The Index uses a market-value weighted methodology with a cap on each issuer of 3%.
The Fund seeks to track the performance of a market-weighted corporate bond index with a short-term dollar-weighted average maturity. The Fund employs a "passive management" - or indexing - investment approach designed to track the performance of the Barclays Capital U.S. 1-5 Year Corporate Bond Index.
