The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The fund operates as fund of funds. It generally invests: between 0% and 40% of its assets in fixed-income funds, and less than 30% in any one fixed-income fund; between 60% and 100% of its assets in equity funds that invest in small, medium, and large market capitalization companies, and less than 40% in any one equity fund; and less than 20% of its assets in specialty funds, and less than 20% in any one specialty fund.
The investment seeks the highest total return over time consistent with a primary emphasis on capital growth and a secondary emphasis on income. The fund invests in a diversified portfolio typically consisting of approximately 80% stocks; 16% bonds, money market securities, and cash reserves; and 4% alternative investments, including through hedge funds. Under normal conditions, its allocation to the broad asset classes will be within the following ranges: stocks (70-90%), bonds and money markets (5-25%), and alternative investments (0-10%).
The investment seeks reasonable income; it also considers the potential for capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in equity securities. It uses a neutral mix of approximately 50% common stocks, 15% REITs and other real estate related investments, 15% convertible securities, and 20% preferred stocks. The fund invests the fund's assets with a focus on equity securities that pay current dividends and show potential for capital appreciation, which tends to lead to investments in "value" stocks in the common stock category. It invests in domestic and foreign issuers.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
