The investment seeks to maximize total return, consisting of a combination of long-term capital appreciation and current income, while moderating risk and volatility in the portfolio. The fund operates as a fund of funds, investing primarily in registered mutual funds, including exchange-traded funds ("ETFs"). The funds in which the fund may invest are referred to herein as the "underlying funds." The Advisor believes that investing in underlying funds provides the fund with an efficient means of creating a portfolio that provides investors with indirect exposure to a broad range of securities.

It allocates 55%-90% of its assets in equity securities and 10%-40% in debt securities. The fund may enter into standardized derivatives contracts traded on domestic or foreign securities exchanges, boards of trade, or similar entities, and non-standardized derivatives contracts traded in the over-the-counter market.
The investment seeks long-term capital growth with reduced volatility over time. The fund invests primarily in equity securities when the managers believe the reward characteristics outweigh the risk in the market. The fund's managers consider equity securities to include, among others, domestic or foreign common stocks, securities convertible into common stocks, securities that carry the right to buy common stocks, preferred securities, and domestic and foreign exchange-traded fund (ETFs).
