The investment seeks current income, long-term growth of capital and conservation of capital, with an emphasis on income and growth of capital. The advisor will attempt to achieve its investment objectives by investing in a mix of American Funds in varying combinations and weightings over time. The underlying funds will primarily consist of equity funds in the equity-income, balanced and growth-and-income fund categories. The fund is one of a suite of three American Funds Retirement Income Portfolios designed to help investors in or near retirement with a withdrawal program. It seeks somewhat higher income and long-term growth of capital.
The investment seeks to provide exposure to the price return version of the NYSE Multi-Asset High Income Index (the “index”). The ETNs are listed on NYSE Arca under the ticker symbol “MLTI”. The NYSE Multi-Asset High Income Index (the “index”) measures the performance of a broad, diversified basket of up to 120 publicly-traded securities that historically have paid high dividends or distributions (the “index constituents”).
The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, the Claymore CEF Index. The index measures the performance of a basket of closed-end funds selected and weighted based on a predefined set of criteria such as liquidity, distributions and market valuation, among other factors.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
