Description
The investment seeks long-term total returns and capital preservation. The fund invests in both equity and fixed income securities that the Adviser believes can deliver attractive long-term returns and enhanced capital preservation. Under normal market conditions, the minimum allocation to either fixed income or equity securities is expected to be 25% of the fund's net assets; conversely, the maximum allocation to either fixed income or equity securities at any given time is expected to be 75%. It may invest up to 50% of its net assets in foreign securities. The fund's investments in any one sector may exceed 25% of its net assets.
The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation and moderate current income. The fund invests 60% to 70% of its assets in dividend-paying and, to a lesser extent, non-dividend-paying common stocks of established large companies. The remaining 30% to 40% of the fund's assets are invested mainly in fixed income securities that the advisor believes will generate a moderate level of current income. These securities include investment-grade corporate bonds, with some exposure to U.S. Treasury and government agency bonds, and mortgage-backed securities.
The investment seeks income and capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, between 50% and 70% of the fund's total assets are invested in equity securities and between 30% and 50% of the fund's total assets are invested in debt securities. The fund's equity investments may include common stocks, preferred stocks, securities convertible into common stocks, real estate investment trusts ("REITs"), American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") and U.S. dollar-denominated foreign stocks traded on U.S. exchanges (collectively referred to as "stocks"). It may invest in companies of all market capitalizations.
