Description
The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund invests primarily in the equity securities of companies located in developed and emerging markets throughout the world that the adviser believes are available at market prices less than their value. Portfolio holdings are typically concentrated in 10 to 35 securities without limits as to the size of an issuer, the issuer's earnings or the industry in which it operates. It also may invest globally in debt securities, including government and corporate bonds, high yield bonds, commercial paper, mortgage or asset-backed securities and repurchase agreements. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, the Claymore CEF Index. The index measures the performance of a basket of closed-end funds selected and weighted based on a predefined set of criteria such as liquidity, distributions and market valuation, among other factors.
The investment seeks long-term total return. The fund invests opportunistically in a focused portfolio of investments in the equity, fixed-income and cash and cash-equivalent asset classes. It may invest in any, all or none of the targeted asset classes at any given time. There is no limitation on the amount of the fund's portfolio that may be allocated to any one of these asset classes. It may maintain a significant portion of its assets in cash and cash-equivalent securities and investments. The fund is non-diversified.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
