Description
The investment seeks a long-term total return in excess of inflation. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in investments related to real assets and real asset companies. It seeks to achieve its investment objective by allocating its assets among general investment categories related to real assets and real asset companies (which include tangible assets and investments that are expected to perform well in periods of high inflation).
The investment seeks the highest total return over time consistent with a primary emphasis on income and a secondary emphasis on capital growth. The fund invests in a diversified portfolio typically consisting of approximately 40% stocks; 55% bonds, money market securities, and cash reserves; and 5% alternative investments, including through hedge funds. Under normal conditions, its allocation to the broad asset classes will be within the following ranges: stocks (30-50%), bonds and money markets (45-65%), and alternative investments (0-10%).
The investment seeks the highest total return consistent with its asset mix. The fund invests in other American Century Investments mutual funds (the underlying funds) that represent a variety of asset classes and investment styles. Its asset allocation strategy emphasizes investments in fixed-income securities and cash equivalents, but maintains a sizeable portion of the fund's assets in equity securities. The fund invests 45% of its assets in underlying funds that invest in stocks, 49% of its assets in underlying funds that invest in bonds, and 6% of its assets in underlying funds that invest in cash equivalents.

FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
