14 Stores That Offer Free Shipping

Many stores offer free shipping as a way to entice shoppers to buy through their websites. Because free shipping is there to entice you, make sure that you’re getting a good deal with these free shipping offers. Just because shipping is free doesn’t mean you couldn’t get the item elsewhere for an overall cheaper price.

Another thing to watch out for is making sure you’re not spending extra money just to get free shipping. Buying a $15 item you don’t need to get $4.99 worth of free shipping will end up costing you an extra $10 that you likely didn’t need to spend.

That said, here are a few online sites that offer free shipping to your home or to their store that’s close by. First, we’ll list some more popular sites and their free shipping options. Following that is a quick list of other stores and their policies.

Amazon.com offers free shipping in a couple of ways. The first requires a minimum purchase amount. Free super saver shipping is available on items that specify free super saver shipping as an option. Not all items are available for free super saver shipping, but for those that are, you need just $35 in purchases in order to qualify for it.

The second way Amazon.com offers free shipping is through Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime has an upfront cost of $99/year, but once you make that upfront payment you get unlimited free two day shipping on all items that qualify. If you order a lot of items online and like fast shipping, this might be for you.

Walmart.com offers two different ways to get free shipping. The first is their site to store feature. Order anything on WalMart.com and get it shipped to your local WalMart store for free! If the local WalMart has it in stock, you may be able to pick up your item as soon as today. However, if it has to ship to the store it may take 6 to 9 days.

The second way to get free shipping at WalMart.com is to place an order of $50 or more. By placing a $50+ order, you’ll get free value shipping which takes 6 to 9 days to arrive at your home.

Target.com offers free same day in store pickup, but only for items normally stocked in your store. They also offer free shipping for all orders of $50 or more which takes 3 to 5 business days to arrive.

  • BestBuy.com – Free shipping on orders of $35 or more.
  • Zappos.com – Free shipping and free returns on all orders no matter the size
  • LLBean.com – Free shipping on all orders
  • Linens-N-Things (LNT.com) – Free shipping on all orders
  • Nordstrom.com – Free shipping and free returns
  • Macys.com – Free shipping with $99 purchase
  • BananaRepublic.com – Free shipping on all orders over $50
  • OldNavy.com – Free shipping on all orders over $50
  • GAP.com – Free Shipping on orders over $50
  • UrbanOutfitters.com – Free shipping on orders of $50 and over
  • Ulta.com – Free shipping on any $50 purchase

From the companies listed in this article, you should be able to get almost anything shipped to your home for free. Just make sure you’re not buying something just to get free shipping. Sometimes it makes more sense to pay to get the item to your home. It might actually save you money!

I wonder why free shipping makes me so happy… but it definitely does! Almost to a point where I value free shipping over a lower item price. Stupid, right?!

Anyway, my point is this article = A+ in my books.

    Thanks for the list!
